When the machine you need doesn't exist, we build it.
Flamers, wrappers, case sealers, and one-job machines built for your exact product — when no catalog machine does what your line needs.
Custom Designed Machines
Some jobs on a production line have no catalog answer: flaming a specific bottle finish, wrapping an odd bundle, sealing a case format no OEM supports. Apex Fabrication designs and builds single-purpose machines around one product doing one job at rate — flamers, wrappers, case sealers, feeders, and the fixtures between them.
Builds start from your product samples and line specs. Our in-house engineers design around them, then we prototype, run product through it, adjust, and deliver a machine your operators and maintenance crew can actually keep running — no proprietary parts you can't source.
What this covers
- Flame-treatment (flamer) stations for containers and formed parts
- Wrapping and bundling stations for non-standard packs
- Case sealer modifications and purpose-built sealing stations
- Feeders, orienters, and timing screws matched to your product
- Frames and stations built to integrate with existing line controls
- Rebuilds of obsolete single-purpose machines the OEM no longer supports
Jobs this service exists for
A flamer stage added ahead of labeling to fix adhesion on HDPE jugs
A case sealer rebuilt for a case size the original OEM never offered
Replacing a discontinued machine nobody sells parts for anymore
Custom Machines FAQs
We only have the product, not drawings. Can you still build it?
That's the normal starting point. Send product samples and your rate and footprint requirements — design starts from the product and works outward to the machine.
Who supports the machine after delivery?
We do, and so can you. Machines are built from commercially available components with documentation, so your maintenance team can service it — and we're 24/7 if you'd rather call us.
Can you rebuild or modify a machine instead of building new?
Often yes, and it's usually faster and cheaper. Rebuilds of obsolete flamers, wrappers, and sealers are a large share of our machine work.
