Privacy Policy
The short, honest version: we run our own counters, we don't sell data, and your card number never touches our site. Effective August 31, 2026.
What we collect
When you order or request a quote we collect what the job needs: your name, company (optional), email, phone (optional), shipping address, and the order or request details. If you create an account, we store your email and a one-way scrambled version of your password — we cannot see the password itself.
Payment information
Your card number never touches our website or our servers. Payment fields on our checkout page are secure frames provided by Stripe, our payment processor — the card data goes directly to Stripe's PCI-certified vault. If you choose to save a payment method, it is stored by Stripe, not by us; we keep only a reference identifier.
Site analytics — our own, no trackers
We count visits with our own first-party system on our own infrastructure: no third-party ad trackers, no advertising cookies, no fingerprinting, and no data brokers. IP addresses are used transiently for daily counting and coarse region (state-level), then discarded — never stored. That's why you don't see a cookie banner here: there's nothing to consent to.
Who we share with
Only the service providers it takes to run the store: Stripe (payments), our shipping carriers (delivery), and our email provider (receipts, password resets, order notices). We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. Because we don't sell or share data for advertising, Global Privacy Control signals are honored by architecture — there's nothing to opt out of. We treat Do Not Track the same way.
Retention & your choices
Order records are kept as long as tax and warranty obligations require. Quote requests are kept as job records. Files you attach to a quote request (drawings, photos, specs) are stored in our own database at our hosting provider (Cloudflare), shared with no one outside the shop, and deleted automatically after 90 days. Want your account deleted or a copy of what we have? Email office@apexfabricationllc.com from the address on the account and we'll take care of it.
Changes
If this policy materially changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date.
